So what has happened? Everybody is in the trenches, trying to juggle our current 17 projects in an orderly fashion. Also the May-page in the Norwegian calendar has a lot of red days, making the weeks even shorter while the days grow longer as we home in on summer.

Now the conference with more than 500 exhibitors from 30 countries is over and on an after note we are proud to report we took home second prize for “Best company debute”. Not quite our core business, but exploring other types of media is what we are all about.

Right after lunch, and after saying hello to the students of Glemmen, HRH Haakon the Crown Prince of Norway, came to visit us at Hydrogenfabrikken, to see what’s going on. Our 3D & VFX creative director Torgeir Holm got the honour of presenting Netron’s digital empire. The rest of us smiled and waved the best we could. A bit star struck, oh yes. Sorry – royal struck, that is.

The film is going to be an installation video for the Yale Doorman digital door lock. Filming all the steps in the installation process required a crew of four people rigging lights and dealing with the strong winds in Moss that day. This week we´re doing the editing and post production. In other words: soon to be seen.

There are quite a few companies interested in our product Tactic, a real time ad content manager enabling clients to adjust the communication in their web-banners in real-time. It does not bypass existing channels and is integrated with industry standard ad services like Adform. We have been developing this on the side for a while now, and ColorLine has been using the system for over a year. We´ve also run campaigns for Pepsi MAX and G-max on Tactic, generating a higher click rate and enabling us to present fresher and more relevant content.

We are hosting an event officially launching our Netron Labs, we have a big unveiling of a three stories tall animated mural that´s due April 6th and we are finishing up an job for Alecon in Estonia – designing a stand and promotional material for the Trans Russia Exibition in Moscow – also in April.

These days, they are launching a campaign for the local automobile reseller of Peugeot, in cooperatien with the partner agency Lead. The campaign will be a simplified version of the global one, and already made scripts will be used to reduce development cost. The idea is to follow a live road trip from Tallinn to Geneva. Trip pictures and videos are going to be submitted to the promo website after each country is passed.

We are proud to announce that Per Elling Braseth-Ellingsen has taken on the task to get the lab set up and running. He officially started february 1st, but has already set a few things in motion. To help him out, Ariana Gelmanaite is doing a three month internship as a part of her bachelor degree. Already they are hammering away on their laptops and setting up meetings. We expect great things. Welcome on board!
