Netron has been fortunate to produce several films for 1X/Halodi Robotics.

Who is 1X/Halodi?

Halodi Robotics is a Norwegian robotics company with the goal of developing advanced humanoid robots designed to address global challenges. The robot Eve is designed to be a versatile and cost-effective solution, capable of performing various tasks in healthcare, education, and manufacturing, among other fields. Netron has been working with 1X/HALODI Robotics since their early days, when Bernt, Phong, and Jørgen were working on drawings and prototypes in a barn in Moss. The task Netron received back then was to create a film that would help them secure the first 9 million NOK needed to kickstart the robotics company.

Pitch Films

This falls into the category of “pitch filmer
a specialized genre we focus on. In such a film—typically one to two minutes long—we aim to accomplish several things: First and foremost, we need to create heartfelt engagement with the viewer. When someone is engaged, they really listen. Next, we need to explain the problem and the solution. We also need to hint at the market potential, and most importantly, instill confidence that the team behind the project can execute it successfully. The film should act as a “conversation starter,” setting up the viewer to ask the right questions after watching. Such a video should save the first 20 minutes of an investor meeting, and we have extensive experience in achieving this.
1X/Halodi Robotics has also seen success with this approach, to the point where we’ve produced investor films nearly every time they’ve gone through a funding round. Here’s a small selection of the films we’ve created.
1X/HALODI Robotics, has come a long way since 2016 and is now a multinational company with numerous employees at offices and workshops in Norway, Canada, and the USA.

While we initially created a lot in 3D, we’ve gradually started using the developed robot as the “main character” in the films. However, there are still occasions when we need to work with special effects that are meant to be invisible, like in this film where we added the visor in post-production—hopefully so seamlessly that you can’t even tell.
